Book nowWe started fixing appliances the way most local trades do: word of mouth, one job at a time. Ottawa winters are hard on them, a fridge that never gets a break, a dryer vent that freezes shut in January. We've seen most of it, usually more than once.
Every technician we send out is licensed and insured, so you're not taking a risk letting someone into your home. We tell you what something will cost before we start, not after. If an appliance isn't worth fixing, we'll say so.
Real jobs, real appliances, from same-day fixes to the ones nobody else could figure out.
Fridge stopped cooling on a Sunday, which is always when it happens. Called Mer Bleue and someone was out the next morning. Turned out to be the compressor relay, fixed in under an hour.
Dryer was taking three cycles to dry a single load. Technician checked the vent before touching anything else and found it packed with lint. Wish I'd called sooner, honestly.
Front-load washer started banging so hard at night we thought it would walk out of the laundry room. Suspension springs, replaced as a set. Quiet ever since.
Good diagnosis on our dishwasher, fair price too. Knocked a star off only because the first appointment got pushed back a day, though they did call ahead about it.
Oven wouldn't get past 300 degrees no matter what we set it to. Bake element had failed. Technician explained exactly what he was testing before replacing anything.
Called about a burner that clicked but wouldn't light. Igniter was slightly out of position, five minute fix once he got here. Didn't try to upsell us on anything.
Our place is out past Orléans and I half expected a surcharge for the drive. Nope, same price, same-day appointment. Fixed the stacked dryer in one visit.
Fridge was warm but the freezer was fine, had me completely stumped. Turned out to be a blocked vent between the two compartments. Fixed same day.
Booked online at night not expecting a callback until morning. Someone called first thing and had the washer fixed before lunch.
Old dishwasher from the previous owners, most places would have just told us to replace it. He fixed the pump instead and it runs better than when we moved in.
Solid repair on our dryer's heating element. Four stars only because the part took a couple of days to arrive, otherwise no complaints.
We're in Findlay Creek and weren't sure anyone serviced this far south. They did, and the technician actually knew our model of stove without looking it up.
Two service areas across Ottawa, same-day appointments in both.
